The children
are encouraged to work and play in groups and by themselves. There
are morning and afternoon breaks when the children enjoy refreshments
together.
Toast and fruit is offered during the morning sessions
and a biscuit together with fruit is offered during the afternoons. Milk
or water is also encouraged during these break times. Should
children have special dietary requirements, we are always happy to
ensure that their needs are met.
We have resident gerbils,
fish and stick insects, with their favourite being “Bob“ our
guinea pig, which the children help to look after and, throughout the
year, we explore other religious celebrations as well as English events.
A Dental Nurse regularly visits Happy Days to promote healthy teeth. Other
visitors include the local
Police Officer and the Reception Teacher
from Wickhambrook Primary
School. |
