This involves children’s dispositions, attitudes, self-esteem and confidence. Helping them to make relationships, control their own behaviour, self care and developing a sense of community.
Children are encouraged to work as individuals and together as groups For example children are expected to help prepare break and sit together socialbly.
We like to engender a caring and respectfull awareness of other creatures.and at Happy Days we have tropical fish, cold water
fish as well as our giant African snails. We also have a
guinea pig called Kitkat, which the children help to look after.
We retain close links with the local police officer, fire officer, and the local schools. This helps children to understand their place in the local community.
