We have a healthy eating policy; at break the children are offered fresh fruit, vegetables, toast and bread sticks plus other snacks from around the world. We also provide hot lunches daily which are varied and nutritious.
Each child is fully insured
under our Insurance Policy. Safety locks are in place on all
doors and our garden is safely fenced so that children do not stray. Our
kitchen also has a gated access as we are also aware of the dangers
present in a kitchen environment.
All contact numbers for homes and doctors are easily accessible, should we need to contact you in an emergency. An accident form is used to record any accidents that occur during the sessions and parents are required to sign this form as well as staff members. We are happy to give medication to children if the parent signs our medication forms. However, please note it would be appreciated that in instances when your child is ill the night previous to attending Happy Days, they do not attend for the following 48 hours to minimise the risk of infection. This is also relevant when your child has symptoms of conjunctivitis, ie sticky eyes |
