All children have access to an enclosed outdoor play area. We also have a large purpose built play pergola, which provides all year round cover from the sun and the rain. Within the garden we have a vegetable patch for the children to grow their own vegetables, including a herb area for plants providing aromas, a willow house and a large climbing frame.

The children are encouraged to do a wide range of activities, ie obstacle courses, playing football, skipping and throwing and catching.

The garden at Happy Days Childcare is a relaxing way of assessing a child's physical ability whilst allowing them to enjoy benefits of the large climbing frame, slide and the playhouse.

Small groups are taken out each week to participate in Forest School activities, with specially trained staff this encourage them to think and work in a new but safe environment.
